I would like to thank everyone who came along on Friday evening to help me launch the final phase of my election campaign. It was a really enjoyable evening and I would like to especially thank Green Party Leader, Eamon Ryan for taking time from his European election campaign to join us.
My commitment to Dún Laoghaire:
• I will look after the things that matter, like maintaining our roads, protecting the beaches and the parks. Unlike the current council, I will not support misspend on vanity projects like the €37m Dún Laoghaire library and €13m cancelled incinerator.
• Dún Laoghaire would benefit from proper planning and good parking policies; rejuvenating our town, and improving our quality of life. I will always work for the best, long-view solutions to improve our community.
• We live in one of the most beautiful areas of Dublin but projects like Dalkey oil drilling threaten this. As a dedicated environmentalist, I will strive to maintain and improve the natural beauty of this area and continue to fight against oil drilling on our coastline.
• I believe that public engagement creates the best public policy. I will listen to you and respond to your concerns for our community.
